BUSINESS AGENDA <br />Consensus existed to add consideration of a co -responder program contract with Sound Health. <br />A. 20212 n Quarter Police Department Report <br />Staff presented the report. <br />/tem(s) requiring follow-up. <br />• Determine if Mayor Ekberg met with County representatives regarding the public health <br />approach to gun violence. <br />• Provide additional information on trespassing incidents. <br />Committee Recommendation; <br />Discussion only. <br />B. Contract with Sound Health <br />Staff is seeking Council approval of a contract with Sound Health in the amount of $85,000 for <br />co -responder services with the Police Department to provide de -escalations, diversions and <br />referrals. <br />Items) requiring follow-up. <br />• Provide program utilization data after implementation. <br />Committee Recommendation; <br />Unanimous approval.
