BUSINESS AGENDA <br />A. Bid Award: Tukwila Community Center Exterior Painting Contract <br />Staff is seeking Council approval to award a contract to Long Painting Company in the amount <br />of $118,333.28 to paint the exterior of the Tukwila Community Center. <br />Committee Recommendation <br />Unanimous approval. Forward to August 23, 2021 Committee of the Whole and Special Meeting <br />Consent Agenda. <br />B. Neighborhood Traffic Calming Program Update <br />Staff presented 10 recommended projects for implementation if funding is secured in 2021 or <br />2022. <br />Item(s) for follow-up: <br />• Provide information on community outreach/stakeholder engagement <br />• Provide statistics on numbers of complaints/requests <br />• Coordinate with Finance & Governance Committee on funding possibilities <br />Committee Recommendation <br />Discussion only. <br />C. Maintenance Agreement: Riverton Creek Flapgate Removal Project <br />Staff is seeking Council approval of a 10 -year maintenance agreement with WSDOT for the <br />Riverton Creek Flapgate Removal Project, which includes approximately two acres of native <br />plant restoration within WSDOT Right -of -Way. <br />Committee Recommendation <br />Unanimous approval. Forward to September 13, 2021 Special Consent Agenda. <br />
