Councilmembers Present: Cynthia Delostrinos Johnson, Chair; De'Sean Quinn, Zak Idan <br />Staff Present: David Cline, Eric Drever, Eric Lund, Jay Wittwer, Stacy Hansen, Rachel <br />Bianchi, Laurel Humphrey <br />Chair Delostrinos Johnson called the meeting to order at 5:30 p.m. <br />I. BUSINESS AGENDA <br />A. Way Back Inn Property Leases <br />Staff is seeking Council approval of leases for the Way Back Inn's temporary <br />shelter/transitional housing properties Kennedy's Cottage, Gregory House, and Hartnett <br />Manor for a term through November 30, 2026. <br />Item(s) for follow-up: <br />• Invite Way Back Inn Director to provide a program overview in 2022. <br />• Provide a copy of the Annual Report when available. <br />Committee Recommendation: <br />Unanimous approval. Forward to November 15, 2021 Regular Consent Agenda. <br />B. Cascade Behavioral Health Hospital <br />Committee members and staff continued discussion of safety issues around Cascade <br />Behavioral Health. The Department of Health indicated via a letter dated October 29, 2021 <br />thatthey have been investigating the complaints and will determine appropriate actions when <br />complete. <br />Committee Recommendation: <br />Discussion only. <br />II.
