BUSINESS AGENDA <br />A. Grant Agreement: Public Defense <br />Staff is seeking Council approval to accept $75,000 in grant funding from the Washington State <br />Office of Public Defense for the Public Defense Program in 2022-2023. <br />Committee Recommendation: <br />Unanimous approval. Forward to November 22, 2021 Special Meeting Consent Agenda. <br />B. Use of Force Review Board Q&A <br />Committee members engaged in dialogue with members of the Use of Force Review Board <br />regarding their experiences and observations. <br />Committee Recommendation: <br />Discussion only. <br />C. Tukwila School District Park Lease Agreements <br />Staff is seeking Council approval of updated property lease agreements with the Tukwila <br />School District for Duwamish Park, Joseph Foster Park, and Riverton Park, for 30 -year terms <br />and a rate of $1 per year per park. The District will also invoice the City for any other taxes, <br />costs, fees, and assessments, estimated to be $80 per year for all three properties. <br />Committee Recommendation: <br />Unanimous approval. Forward to December 6, 2021 Regular Meeting Consent Agenda. <br />D. Tukwila Pond Master Plan Update <br />Staff updated the Committee on the status of the Tukwila Pond Master Plan project, which is <br />now expected to be presented to Council during the 1st quarter of 2022. <br />Committee Recommendation: <br />Discussion only. <br />
