BUSINESS AGENDA <br />A. Grant Application: South 144th Street Bridge Sidewalks Project <br />Staff is seeking Committee approval to apply to the Puget Sound Regional Council's Surface <br />Transportation Program for $475,750 in funding for the South 144th Street Bridge Sidewalks <br />Project. <br />Committee Recommendation <br />Unanimous approval. <br />B. Public Works Shops Phase 2 Introduction <br />Staff briefed the Committee on a potential funding plan and next steps for Phase 2 of the <br />Public Works Shops, which would develop the eastern parcel where the UPS site currently <br />resides. <br />Item(s) for Follow-up: <br />• Provide Councilmembers Abdi and Sharp with hard copies of pages 14-16 from the <br />10/28/19 COW presentation on the Consolidated Facility Study <br />Committee Recommendation <br />Discussion only. <br />C. Minimum Wage Initiative <br />Staff provided an overview of a current initiative effort related to the minimum wage in <br />Tukwila. <br />Item(s) for Follow-up: <br />• Provide City Attorney input <br />• Provide information about Seattle and SeaTac's enforcement processes <br />• Determine if the City Council can amend the initiative language prior to putting it on the <br />ballot. <br />
