City of Tuk <br />Department of Community Development - Nora Gierloff AICP, Director <br />Allan Ekberg, Mayor <br />CITY OF TUKWILA <br />BOARD OF ARCHITECTURAL REVIEW (BAR) <br />PUBLIC HEARING <br />MINUTES <br />Date: April 28, 2022 <br />Time: 6:30 PM <br />Location: Virtual meeting via Microsoft Teams <br />Protocol: Max Baker, AICP, Development Supervisor, Department of Community <br />Development (DCD) explained the protocol for the virtual meeting as well as <br />public hearing procedures. <br />Chair Simmons called the public hearing to order. <br />The PC Secretary took roll call. <br />Present: Chair Karen Simmons; Vice Chair Andrea Reay; Commissioners <br />Louise Strander, Sharon Mann, Apneet Sidhu, and Alexandria Teague <br />Excused <br />Absent: Commissioner Dennis Martinez <br />Staff: DCD Director Nora Gierloff, AICP; Development Supervisor Max Baker, AICP; <br />Long Range Planning Manager Nancy Eklund, AICP; Associate Planner Breyden <br />Jager; and PC Secretary Wynetta Bivens <br />Adopt <br />Minutes: Commissioner Strander moved to adopt the February 24, 2022, minutes. <br />Commissioner Sidhu seconded the motion. Motion passed. <br />Chair Simmons opened the public hearing for: <br />CASE NUMBERS: L21-0104 <br />PURPOSE: Major Modification to Approved Design Review for expansion of Vietnamese <br />Martyr's Church <br />LOCATION: 6841 S 180 ST, Parcel No. 3623049087 <br />Chair Simmons swore in persons wishing to speak on the project. <br />Breyden Jager, Associate Planner, DCD, asked the Commissioners the Appearance of Fairness <br />Questions. There were no disclosures. <br />Breyden Jager gave the staff presentation on the proposed project, which is a Major Modification <br />to a previously approved Design Review decision.
