Recruitment and retention work goes on. <br />✓ Discussion of some of the reform bills that are currently before the legislature <br />✓ Will be bringing on a new Community Engagement Coordinator to take some pressure off of CPT team. <br />✓ Looking for community engagement to develop 5 -year Strategic Plan <br />✓ Survey — not many responses as it is. May move to link with Spider Program that automatically gives a <br />follow-up contact with cases reported. <br />✓ Covid has affected staffing and morale. Request made for COPCAB members to encourage kind <br />words/recognition by the community to appreciate TPD. <br />COPCAB Special Recognition: <br />✓ Chief Dreyer and Deputy Chief Lund will consider and let the members know <br />TPD Annual Report to Council: <br />✓ Will be prepared by early February <br />COPCAB Annual Report: <br />✓ Possibly to CSS Committee <br />Word on the Street <br />✓ 42nd Bridge closure has raised concerns in the Belltown neighborhood. Extra patrols have been <br />assigned. <br />✓ Graffiti complaints — public property taken care of quickly, private property needs permission <br />from property owner to address it.
