Chief working with other jurisdictions to strategize re: safety <br />• Work with homelessness, cleaned up area on lot next to SHAG on TIB <br />• Conversation with Foster High School students regarding SRO last week. Conversation facilitated by <br />UW <br />• Community has raised concerns about safety. Chief is exploring hosting area specific events to share <br />concerns <br />• Possible TPD community clean up along TIB with BBQ at the end <br />• Shout out to Jan and Roger who assisted with Sergeant interviews last week <br />• Staffing — down 6 (+7 frozen) commissioned officers, 1 retirement, 1 let go, staffed at 57 out of 77 <br />positions <br />• Spider Tech update by Chief Lund <br />o After an incident call, caller receives link to survey, then contact info for reporting officers <br />sent, data aggregated on dashboard. <br />COPCAB vacancies: <br />• Suggest that a blast go out to the community listing all city commission vacancies described and <br />listed.
