BUSINESS AGENDA <br />A. Capital Projects Phases & Process <br />Staff presented an overview of process and phasing of capital projects. <br />Item(s) for follow-up: <br />• Return with report on implementation of Resolution 1814, Apprenticeship Utilization <br />for Public Works Projects. <br />• Return with information on local hire policy and practice. <br />• Consider linking to Council meeting records from capital project pages as well as <br />adding total project budget amounts. <br />Committee Recommendation <br />Discussion only. <br />B. Project Completion: Boeing Access Road Bridge over Airport Way Seismic Retrofit <br />Staff is seeking Council approval of project completion and release of retainage in the <br />amount of $1,468,314.87 for the Boeing Access Road over Airport Way Bridge Seismic Retrofit <br />Project. <br />Committee Recommendation <br />Unanimous approval. Forward to August 1, 2022 Regular Consent Agenda. <br />C. Grant Application: Citywide Water Meter Digitization Project <br />Staff is seeking Committee approval to apply to the WaterSMART Water & Energy Efficiency <br />grant program for $2.5 million to upgrade the City to an advanced metering infrastructure <br />water system. <br />Committee Recommendation <br />Unanimous approval. <br />
