Meeting Minutes <br />City of Tukwila <br />City Council Planning & Community Development Committee <br />July 18, 2022 - 5:30 p.m. - Hybrid Meeting; Council Chamber& MS Teams <br />Councilmembers Present: Cynthia Delostrinos Johnson, Chair; Kathy Hougardy, Thomas McLeod <br />Staff Present: Rachel Bianchi, Laurel Humphrey, Nora Gierloff <br />Guest: Kelly Rider, King County Department of Community & Human Services <br />Chair Delostrinos Johnson called the meeting to order at 5:30 p.m. <br />BUSINESS AGENDA <br />A. King County Health through Housing Program Update <br />King County staff provided an update on the Health through Housing program, which <br />repurposes hotel properties into supportive housing, and is seeking Council direction on <br />participation. Councilmembers discussed the importance and timing of community outreach <br />and asked several clarifying questions. <br />Item(s) for follow-up: <br />Provide the following additional information: <br />• Reserve requirements <br />• Site characteristics identified by participating cities <br />• List of service providers already selected <br />Committee Recommendation <br />Forward to July 25, 2022 Committee of the Whole. <br />II.
