Meeting Minutes <br />City of Tukwila <br />City Council Planning & Community Development Committee <br />September 19, 2022 - 5:30 p.m. - Hybrid Meeting; Hazelnut Conference Room & MS Teams <br />Councilmembers Present: Cynthia Delostrinos Johnson, Chair; Kathy Hougardy, Thomas McLeod <br />Staff Present: Rachel Bianchi, Brandon Miles, Nora Gierloff <br />Guest: Kelly Rider, King County <br />Chair Delostrinos Johnson called the meeting to order at 5:30 p.m. <br />BUSINESS AGENDA <br />A. 2023-2024 Budget: Lodging Tax Fund (Fund 101) <br />Staff provided an overview of the proposed budget. <br />Committee Recommendation <br />Forward to September 26, 2022 Committee of the Whole. <br />B. Health through Housing Community Engagement & Next Steps <br />King County staff is seeking Committee input into a proposed engagement plan to determine <br />if a HtH property should be sited in Tukwila. Committee members discussed pausing <br />discussions until more is known about the impacts of the Tiny House Villages as well as <br />impacts in other communities. <br />Committee Recommendation <br />Revisit program in January 2023; Chair Delostrinos Johnson will report out at the Regular <br />Meeting to determine Council consensus. <br />11. MISCELLANEOUS <br />The meeting adjourned at 6:19 p.m. <br />CDJ Committee Chair Approval <br />
