City of Tukwila <br />City Council Transportation & Infrastructure Services Committee <br />Meeting Minutes <br />October3, 2022 5:30 p.m. - Hybrid Meeting; Duwamish Conference Room & MS Teams <br />Councilmembers Present: Kate Kruller, Chair; Mohamed Abdi, Tosh Sharp <br />Staff Present: Hari Ponnekanti, Griffin Lerner, Brittany Robinson, Seong Kim, Mike <br />Perfetti, Adib Altallal, Cyndy Knighton, Joshua Hartley, Vicky Carlsen <br />Guest: John Palewicz, PMWA Consultant; Shane Young, Water District No. 125 <br />Councilmember Kruller called the meeting to order at 5:30 p.m. <br />I. BUSINESS AGENDA <br />Motion was made, seconded and carried to move the right-of-way vacation public hearing <br />resolution as the first order of business. <br />A. Resolution: Public Hearing on Right -of -Way Vacation <br />Staff is seeking Council approval of resolution setting a public hearing date of November 21, <br />2022 for a street vacation of unnamed right-of-way at the George Long Shop near 14000 <br />Interurban Avenue. <br />Item(s) for follow-up: <br />• Communicate with adjacent property owner on project status. <br />Committee Recommendation <br />Unanimous approval. Forward to October 17, 2022 Regular Consent Agenda. <br />B. Project Update: Public Works Phase 2 Test -to -Fit <br />Staff provided an update on the project. <br />Item(s) for follow-up: <br />• Consider posting information on social media neighborhood groups; provide <br />information on ability to do so. <br />• Provide an order of magnitude cost on new construction versus repurposing building. <br />Committee Recommendation <br />Discussion only. <br />C. Grant Application: PW Shops Decant Facility <br />Staff is seeking Committee approval to apply for a Department of Ecology Water Quality <br />Combined Funding Program grant in the amount of $467,500 for an enhanced maintenance <br />plan and decant facility at the Public Works campus. <br />
