City of Tukwila <br />City Council Planning & Community Development Committee <br />Meeting Minutes <br />November 7, 2022 - 5:30 p.m. - Hybrid Meeting; Hazelnut Conference Room & MS Teams <br />Councilmembers Present: Cynthia Delostrinos Johnson, Chair; De'Sean Quinn, Kathy Hougardy <br />Staff Present: Nora Gierloff, Jerry Hight, Rachel Bianchi <br />Chair Delostrinos Johnson called the meeting to order at 5:30 p.m. <br />BUSINESS AGENDA <br />A. Contract: Plan Review and Inspection Services <br />Staff is seeking Council approval of a contract with BHC Consultants, Inc. in an amount not to <br />exceed $150,000 for renewal of plan review and inspection services through 2024. <br />Committee Recommendation <br />Unanimous approval. Forward to November2l, 2022 Regular Consent Agenda. <br />B. Contract: Structural Plan Review Services <br />Staff is seeking Council approval of a contract with Reid Middleton, Inc. in an amount not to <br />exceed $150,000 for renewal of structural plan review services through 2024. <br />Committee Recommendation <br />Unanimous approval. Forward to November 21, 2022 Regular Consent Agenda. <br />Item(s) for follow-up: <br />Chair Delostrinos Johnson will report out to the Council on the purpose of these contracts, <br />which is to provide structural review expertise not currently on staff as well as to provide a <br />level of consistency to customers as staffing and workloads shift. <br />11.
