City of Tukwila <br />City Council Finance & Governance Committee <br />Meeting Minutes <br />July25, 2022 - 5:30 p.m. - Hybrid Meeting; Duwamish Conference Room & MS Teams <br />Councilmembers Present: <br />Staff Present: <br />De'Sean Quinn, Chair; Kate Kruller, Cynthia Delostrinos Johnson <br />David Cline, Vicky Carlsen, Will Ragin, Julie Hatley, Tony Cullerton, <br />Griffin Lerner, Niesha Fort -Brooks <br />Chair Quinn called the meeting to order. <br />I. BUSINESS AGENDA <br />A. Citywide Facilities Overview <br />Staff provided an overview of the current status of City Facilities including an updated seismic <br />assessment of City Hall, 6300 Building, and the Community Center. <br />Item(s) for follow-up: <br />• Show what has changed since the last seismic assessment was completed. <br />• Provide information showing which buildings meet life safety minimums versus other <br />safety standards. <br />• Determine from Emergency Manager why Tukwila Community Center cannot operate as <br />an emergency cooling center. <br />• Provide information or scenarios from other cities on the status of their municipal <br />buildings. <br />Committee Recommendation <br />Return to Committee <br />MISCELLANEOUS <br />Staff provided an overview of the Consumer Price Index. Chair Quinn asked that it be distributed <br />to the full Council. <br />The meeting adjourned at 6:15 p.m. <br />Committee Chair Approval <br />Minutes by LH <br />
