City of Tukwila <br />City Council Transportation & Infrastructure Services Committee <br />Meeting Minutes <br />December5, 2022 5:30 p.m. - Hybrid Meeting; Duwamish Conference Room & MS Teams <br />Councilmembers Present: Kate Kruller, Chair; Mohamed Abdi, Tosh Sharp <br />Staff Present: David Cline, Hari Ponnekanti, Griffin Lerner, Joshua Hartley, Seong Kim, <br />Cody Lee Gray, Bryan Still, Laurel Humphrey, Cyndy Knighton, Nancy <br />Eklund <br />Guest: Laura Maman, Miller Hiyashi Architects; John Palewicz, PMQA; Justine <br />Kim, Shiels Obletz Johnsen <br />Councilmember Kruller called the meeting to order at 5:30 p.m. <br />I. BUSINESS AGENDA <br />Consensus existed to consider item C as the first order of business. <br />A. Grant Acceptance: Recycling Program <br />Staff is seeking Council approval of an Interagency Agreement to receive $65,972 in grant <br />funding from King County Solid Waste Division to support the Recycling Program through <br />December 31, 2024. <br />Committee Recommendation <br />Unanimous approval. Forward to December 12, 2022 Special Meeting. <br />B. Public Works Campus Phase 2 <br />Ms. Maman presented an overview of the Test -to -Fit Phase, including six site concepts. There <br />will be a community open house in January. <br />Item(s) for follow-up: <br />Provide estimated cost differential between repurposing UPS building and new construction. <br />Committee Recommendation <br />Discussion only. Forward to December 12, 2022 Committee of the Whole. <br />C. Resolution: Surplus City Equipment <br />Staff is seeking Council approval of a resolution to authorize the sale of surplus equipment <br />valued at $214,740. <br />Committee Recommendation <br />Unanimous approval. Forward to December 12, 2022 Committee of the Whole. <br />Miscellaneous <br />Councilmember Sharp acknowledged the work of Public Works crews during the recent snow event. <br />
