V Business Items <br />• Shannon Fisher, Recreation Coordinator — Youth and Teens, provided <br />commissioners with an update for the Parks and Recreation department to <br />potentially provide afternoon childcare for the students. City staff was looking <br />for feedback from commissioners how to ensure spaces are made available for <br />youth that could not afford program cost. Commissioners recommended Parks <br />staff to come back once with program draft is complete. <br />• Equity Policy Implementation Committee (EPIC) subcommittee members, Hodo <br />Hussein, Nate Robinson, Trish Kinlow and Juan Padilla presented on updated <br />revisions from the ESJ Commissioners on the four Equity Policy draft Initiatives. <br />• Commissioners brainstormed on how to best use the ESJC budget for the <br />remaining of the year.
