EPIC 2023 Priorities Background <br />Each year EPIC identifies two to four priorities to implement as a part of the City's <br />ongoing commitment to its adopted equity policy. EPIC priorities must meet the <br />following criteria: <br />• They must be achievable <br />• They must move the needle <br />• They must be realistic <br />This is done through an annual retreat at the end of the year, which culminates in <br />EPIC members brainstorming potential proprieties for the following year based on <br />the equity policy's six goals. Key themes are lifted from these brainstorming <br />sessions and the group collectively decides on the final priorities. <br />
