City of Tukwila <br />City Council Community Services & Safety Committee <br />Meeting Minutes <br />April 10, 2023- 5:30 p.m. - Hybrid Meeting; Hazelnut Conference Room & MS Teams <br />Councilmembers Present: Mohamed Abdi, Chair; Thomas McLeod, Tosh Sharp <br />Staff Present: <br />Laurel Humphrey, Mindi Mattson, Eric Dreyer, Eric Lund <br />Chair Abdi called the meeting to order at 5:30 p.m. <br />I. BUSINESS AGENDA <br />A. Contract: Automated License Plate Readers <br />Staff is seeking Council approval of a contract with Flock Group, Inc. for up to $200,000 for two- <br />year funding of the Automated License Plate Reader program. <br />Committee Recommendation: <br />Unanimous approval. Forward to April 17, 2023 Regular Consent Agenda. <br />B. Resolution: Workforce Scheduling Software Interlocal Agreement <br />Staff is seeking Council approval of a resolution approving an interlocal agreement with <br />National Purchasing partners to allow PD to contract with a workforce scheduling software <br />provider. <br />Committee Recommendation: <br />Unanimous approval. Forward to April 17, 2023 Regular Consent Agenda. <br />C. Disaster Preparedness Kit Project <br />Staff updated the committee on a $28,000 award from the Emergency Management <br />Preparedness Grant Program to be used to provide disaster preparedness kits for low income <br />and Limited English Proficiency families in the Tukwila School District. <br />Committee Recommendation: <br />Discussion only. <br />11.
