Transportation & Infrastructure Services Committee Minutes April 3, 2023 <br />Chair Sharp asked CouncilmemberAbdi to facilitate the last two items as he would be recusing <br />himself from discussion due to his employment with Seattle City Light. <br />E. Ordinance: Utility Undergrounding Code Amendment <br />Staff is seeking Council approval to amend Tukwila Municipal Code Sections 11.04 and 11.28 <br />to provide clarity and revisions to Utility Undergrounding. <br />Committee Recommendation <br />No recommendation. Forward to April 10, 2023 Committee of the Whole. <br />F. S. 152nd Street Safe Routes to School Project Undergrounding <br />Staff is seeking Council direction on whether to include utility undergrounding in the 60% <br />design on the S. 152nd St. Safe Routes to School Project. Undergrounding is estimated to cost <br />at least an additional $3.2 million. <br />Committee Recommendation <br />Discussion only.
