Staff agreed <br />to send a poll out to determine a new date for the May meeting, which will also be the retreat. <br />VI Miscellaneous <br />At the request of the City Council, the Commission reviewed the Boards and Commissions policy <br />to provide recommendations on ensuring equity in the recruitment and nomination process. The <br />Commission recommended the following changes/additions to the policy: <br />• Change policy to ensure a consistent interview process for qualified candidates. <br />• Include Boards and Commissions recruitment materials and application in the City's <br />Language Access Plan. <br />• Expand on the demographics detail to be clear that the City desires to have Boards and <br />Commission members that represent the entire Tukwila community. <br />VII Adjournment <br />
