PRESENTATIONS <br />II. BUSINESS AGENDA <br />A. Project Completion: Macadam Road South Water Upgrade Project <br />Staff is seeking Council approval of project completion and release of retainage in the <br />amount of $2,434,891.97. <br />Committee Recommendation <br />Unanimous approval. Forward to October 16, 2023 Regular Consent Agenda. <br />B. Resolution: Public Works Fee Schedule <br />Staff is seeking Council approval of a resolution to update the City Sewer Rates and King <br />County Sewage Treatment Rates for 2024. Councilmembers discussed the importance of <br />communicating rate changes to customers. <br />Committee Recommendation <br />Unanimous approval. Forward to October 9, 2023 Special Consent Agenda. <br />C. Grant Application: Waste Reduction and Recycling Education. <br />Staff is seeking Committee approval to apply to the Department of Ecology for $50,000 to <br />fund food waste reduction education and outreach and an organics contamination reduction <br />program. <br />Committee Recommendation <br />Unanimous approval. <br />D.
