Ordinance: Amending Business & Occupation Tax Provisions in the TMC <br />Staff is seeking approval of an ordinance that would adopt addition business and occupation <br />tax deductions and exemptions and establish or amend administrative provisions to align with <br />other Washington cities and allow more effective administration. <br />Item(s) for follow-up: <br />Provide more information about the proposed credit union exemption, including if other cities <br />with headquarters provide the exemption. <br />Committee Recommendation <br />Unanimous approval. Forward to November 27, 2023 Committee of the Whole. <br />B. Municipal Court Staffing Request <br />Staff is seeking Council approval of 1.25 FTE to provide additional coverage to support the <br />automated traffic safety camera enforcement program. <br />Committee Recommendation <br />Unanimous approval.
