BUSINESS AGENDA <br />A. Grant Agreement: 2024-2025 Public Defense Program <br />Staff is seeking approval of a grant agreement with the Washington State Office of Public <br />Defense in the two-year amount of $75,000 for the Public Defense Program. <br />Committee Recommendation: <br />Unanimous approval. Forward to December4, 2023 Regular ConsentAgenda. <br />B. Ordinance: Avoiding an Intersection <br />Staff presented the Council -requested ordinancethat prohibits drivers from avoidingsignaled <br />intersections by cutting through parking lots or drives. <br />Committee Recommendation: <br />Unanimous approval. Forward to December4, 2023 Regular ConsentAgenda. <br />C. Contract: Biological Evidence Preservation <br />Staff is seeking approval of a contract with Auburn Mechanical in the amount of $48,629 to <br />provide an adequate cooling system in the Police Department Evidence Room. <br />Committee Recommendation: <br />Unanimous approval. Forward to December4, 2023 Regular Consent Agenda. <br />D. Grant Acceptance: Tukwila Community Center HVAC Replacement <br />Staff is seeking Council approval of a grant agreement with King County in the amount of <br />$500,000 to be used toward the Tukwila Community Center HVAC Replacement Project. <br />Committee Recommendation: <br />Unanimous approval. Forward to December4, 2023 Regular Meeting. <br />II.
