Presentation by Puget Sound Regional Fire Authority Re: Annexation Ballot Measure. Spoke about the <br />benefits of shared resources including education, FD Cares program, Fire Marshal Office for permits and <br />inspections. Average homeowner will see a reduction in cost for fire services <br />2. Approval of Minutes — 5/11/23 minutes approved <br />3. Chief's updates: <br />a. New applications for COPCAB presented and discussed <br />b. Updates on staffing provided. <br />c. Plan for Light Rail station in conjunction with Sound Transit discussed <br />d. Update on graffiti paint party provided. <br />4. Incident updates: <br />a. Updates provided on <br />i. 12 year -old assaults of women <br />ii. Air B&B party shooting <br />iii. Closing of Cascade Behavioral Health <br />iv. Mall Parking garage shooting <br />5. Community Engagement Coordinator's Report — <br />a. Brooke provided updates on community engagement activities. <br />6. Blue Bridge Alliance Initiative (non-profit organization that provides officers with EBT card to provide <br />necessities for community members). <br />a. Will be soliciting donations from our community. <br />7. SPIDR Report — report was presented. <br />8. Word on the Street <br />a.
