BUSINESS AGENDA <br />A. Lodging Tax Application: City of Tukwila <br />The Lodging Tax Advisory Committee forwarded a recommendation to approve an <br />application from the City of Tukwila in the amount of $190,000 to support the Experience <br />Tukwila digital initiative for 2024. <br />Committee Recommendation: <br />Unanimous approval. Forward to March 18, 2024 Regular Meeting Consent Agenda. <br />B. Grant Award and Related Contracts: Green Tukwila <br />Staff is seeking Council approval to accept $125,000 from the Washington State Department of <br />Natural Resources to support Green Tukwila projects in Southgate, Codiga, Riverton and <br />Crestview Parks. <br />Committee Recommendation: <br />Unanimous approval. Forward to March 18, 2024 Regular Meeting Consent Agenda. <br />C. Grant Application: Economic Development <br />Staff is seeking approval to apply for the Port of Seattle's 2024 Economic Development Grant <br />in the amount of $22,780 to be used for Experience Tukwila social media, website search <br />engine optimization, and technical assistance to small businesses through community -based <br />organizations. <br />Committee Recommendation: <br />Unanimous approval. <br />D. 2023 4th Quarter Police Department Report <br />Staff presented the report. <br />Committee Recommendation: <br />Discussion only. <br />
