Lodging Tax Application: Explore Seattle Southside <br />The Lodging Tax Advisory Committee forwarded a recommendation to approve an <br />application from the Seattle Southside Regional Tourism Authority in the amount of $119,275 <br />for advertising at select light rail stations during the 2026 World Cup. <br />Committee Recommendation <br />Unanimous approval. Forward to July 1, 2024 Regular Consent Agenda. <br />B. Contract: Foster Garvey PC <br />Staff is seeking approval of a contract not to exceed $120,000 with Foster Garvey, P.C. for the <br />renewal of collective bargaining negotiation services through 2025. <br />Committee Recommendation <br />Unanimous approval. Forward to July 15, 2024 Regular Consent Agenda. <br />C. Agenda Packet Process Discussion <br />Committee members and staff discussed the agenda production process, including ideas to <br />create efficiencies or provide materials to Councilmembers earlier in the week. Committee <br />members expressed support for streamlining materials and staff was asked if the online packet <br />could be provided on Thursdays when available. <br />Item(s) for follow-up: <br />Continue to identify process improvements and plan for a full Council discussion. <br />Committee Recommendation <br />Discussion only. <br />D.
