Meeting was called to order at 6:32 pm. <br />2. Budget Presentation by Tony Cullerton. Mr. Culerton explained priority -based budgeting and <br />the city process for gathering input. <br />3. Approval of minutes — It was moved and seconded to approve the minutes, after correcting the <br />number of Flock cameras in the city. <br />4. Community Engagement <br />a. Flock Safety event — meeting with businesses about possibly adding Flock <br />b. Working on Juneteenth event <br />c. Chick-Fil-A Heroes event went well and was well attended <br />d. Citizen's Academy held graduation. <br />e. Chamber of Commerce — CPTED — Crime Prevention Through Environmental Design — <br />available also to homes, businesses <br />f. John: Also interested in personal safety resources, firearms safety course or presentation <br />5. Chief s Report <br />a. Staffing — almost fully filled — only one vacancy! <br />b. Emergency Management has been moved into the Mayor's office <br />c. Upcoming events police are prepared for: <br />i. Biden's visit <br />ii. Nelson trial <br />iii. SRO — meeting with school groups to prepare for re -introducing SROs into <br />schools <br />d. Hot Spots: <br />i. Embassy Suites Hotel — vehicle prowls and thefts <br />ii.
