Meeting called to order at 6:32pm <br />2. Approval Of 05/09/24 Minutes <br />a. Motion to approve meetings notes; approved <br />3. Community Engagement Coordinator's Report <br />a. Met with Embassy Suites, walked the property and gave suggestions on how they can make the <br />property more visible and safe <br />b. Similar meeting with Seattle Exchange, listed to issues/problems on property, provided <br />suggestions and praises <br />c. Small business resource fair with chamber of commerce <br />d. Working on National Night Out <br />i. Two applications so far, will reach out to those who signed up last year <br />ii. North lot hosting Night Out next year, potential project for COPCAB <br />4. Chief's Updates <br />a. Chief Dreyer provided update on staffing and budget process for 2025-2026 <br />5. COPCAB question: any questions from your neighbors? <br />a. John- noticed people with no license plate/sticker in the rear, is there something we can do? <br />i. If vehicle is stationary you can call it in, if on the move not much police can do <br />b. John- Street zombies are a concern. <br />i. Call 911 for welfare check <br />c. John- need for speed limit sign on 130th <br />d. John- police dept building is not friendly <br />e. Scott- KN9 dog at school <br />i. SROs - reached agreement and had summit with students <br />f. Katrina- do we have data on the traffic cam on 144th? What has been the impact of that? <br />i. Seen a decline in the number of violations <br />g.
