Motion to approve meeting notes; approved <br />3. Community Engagement Coordinator's Report <br />a. CPTED "Crime Prevention Through Environmental Design" with local business <br />b. National Night Out -August 6 <br />i. 10 parties registered <br />c. Met with Blue Bridge <br />i. Working to get this in Tukwila PD <br />d. Tenant event with Seattle Exchange (bus park in Tukwila) <br />4. Chief Updates <br />a. Chief Dreyer provided update on staffing and budget/budget initiatives for upcoming cycle <br />b. Reviewed hot spots in the community <br />5. SPIDR report <br />a. Deputy Chief Lund presented survey responses from last month <br />6. Word on the Street <br />a. Encampment update <br />7. Good of the Order <br />a. John- possibility of a self-defense class? <br />i. Discussed potential barriers of liability, cost to pay officers if offered through Tukwila PD <br />8.
