BUSINESS AGENDA <br />A. Grant Agreement: King County Youth Amateur Sports <br />Staff is seeking approval of an agreement to accept $100,000 from the King County Parks Levy <br />Youth Amateur Sports Grant program to fund the Tukwila Sports Academy through 2026. <br />Committee Recommendation: <br />Unanimous approval. Forward to February 24, 2025 Special Meeting Consent Agenda. <br />B. Green Tukwila Restoration & Education Project <br />Staff is seeking approval of a grant award and three contracts to be paid using its funds for <br />this project, which will provide approximately 5,150 hours of restoration work across four <br />park sites. <br />• Agreement to accept $312,000 through the Washington State Department of <br />Natural Resources 2024 Community Forestry Assistance Grant. <br />• Contracts with EarthCorps, Partner in Employment and DirtCorps. <br />Committee Recommendation: <br />Unanimous approval. Forward to February 24, 2025 Special Meeting Consent Agenda. <br />C. Southgate Park Restoration Phase 2 <br />Staff is seeking approval of an agreement to accept $100,000 through the King County <br />Improving Indoor Air through Forestry Program for payment of a contract with Earthcorps for <br />restoration work at the site. <br />Committee Recommendation: <br />Unanimous approval. Forward to February 24, 2025 Special Meeting Consent Agenda. <br />D. Police Department 2024 4th Quarter Report <br />Staff presented the report. <br />Committee Recommendation: <br />Discussion only. <br />
