Compensation Policy <br />Committee members discussed potential changes to the policy. <br />Item(s) for follow-up: <br />• Add other Valley cities to salary comparables. <br />• Provide information about other Valley cities' compensations policies. <br />Committee Recommendation <br />Return to Committee. <br />B. Ordinance: Business License Regulations <br />Staff is seeking approval of an ordinance to amend Tukwila Municipal Code Chapter 5.04 to <br />align business licensing regulations with current practice and state law, create efficiencies, <br />and strengthen enforcement. <br />Item(s) for follow-up: <br />• Are labor organizations designated 501(c)(3)? <br />• How many businesses are under the non -reporting threshold status for B&O tax? <br />• How many active business licenses are in Tukwila? <br />Committee Recommendation <br />Unanimous approval.
