Contact the Permit Coordinator at 431 -3670 prior to submitting application. In all cases, a valuation amount should be entered by the applicant. This figure will be reviewed and is subject to possible revision by the Building Division to comply with current fee schedules. EXPIRATION OF PLAN REVIEW Applications for which no permit is issued within 180 days following the date of application shall expire by limitations. The building official may extend the time for action by the applicant for a period not exceeding 180 days upon written request by the applicant as defined in Section 304(d) of the Uniform Building Code (current edition). Griffin, Building Official Department of Community Development City of Tukwila 6300 Southcenter Boulevard Tukwila, WA 98188 Dear Mr. Griffin: RECEIVED CITY OF TUKWILA DEC 8 1992 PERIMT CENTER Re: B92 -0432 Persuant to our telephone conversation this morning, I hereby request that you waive the bond requirement for demolition of a derelict carport /garage on our property. This wooden structure was built directly on the ground (i.e., no foundation, with 2 x 4 mud sill directly on the dirt and with no slab or other concrete) about 60 years ago. There are no utilities to this structure. Its condition is extremely deteriorated, and our homeowners insurance won't even cover the "building" itself. A minimum of materials was used to build it, and so it will take minimal effort to demolish it and haul off its debris. All debris will be disposed of in a legal dump (Bow Lake Transfer Station, in all likelihood). Removal of this derelict structure is in conjunction with building a new garage under Permit #B92 -0400. Bob Benedicto granted the construction permit last week and said to refer to him any questions about the demolition.
