EXPIRATION OF PLAN REVIEW Applications for which no permit is issued within 180 days following the date of application shall expire by limitations, The building official may extend the time for action by the applicant for a period not exceeding 180 days upon written request by the applicant as defined in Section 304(d) of the Uniform Building Code (current edition). VanDusen, Mayor September 7, 1990 Re: Boeing Company Building #12 -126 - 18300 Cascade Avenue South The attached set of building plans have been reviewed by The Fire Prevention Bureau and are acceptable with the following concerns: 1. All modifications to sprinkler systems shall have the written approval of the Washington Survey & Rating Bureau, Factory Mutual Engineering or Industrial Risk Insurers, then by the Fire Department. No sprinkler work shall commence without approved drawings. (City Ordinance #1528) (NFPA 13, 1 -9.1) (UFC 10.307) Maintain sprinkler protection for all enclosed areas. (NFPA 13, 4- 1.1.1) (UFC 10.302) 2. Sprinkler plans attached to Building Plans have not been reviewed or approved. Submit sprinkler plans directly to the Tukwila Fire Prevention Bureau for approval. 3. All electrical work and equipment shall conform strictly to the standards of the National Electrical Code. (NEC 70) (UFC 85.101) All electrical wiring is to be inspected by the State Electrical Inspector, Washington State Department of Labor & Industries. (NEC 70) 4. All interior wall covering materials shall be fire - resistive or shall be treated to be fire - resistive, so as to result in a flame- spread rating as required by UFC Appendix VI -C tables 42A and 428. A certificate of the flame spread rating is required to be delivered to the Tukwila Fire Department.
