Final inspection approval will be determined by the building inspector based on satisfactory completion of this requirement. 9: Manufacturers installation instructions shall be available on the job site at the time of inspection. 10: All plumbing and gas piping work shall be inspected and approved under a separate permit issued by the Cityof Tukwila Permit Center. 11: All electrical work shall be inspected and approved under a separate permit issued by the City of Tukwila Building Department (206 - 431- 3670). 12: VALIDITY OF PERMIT: The issuance or granting of a permit shall not be construed to be a permit for, or an approval of, any violation of any of the provisions of the building code or of any other ordinances of the City of Tukwila. Is RTU -1 going to be equipped with some short of variable air volume control. This possibly could work through an economizer but the return air ducts would need to be restored. Please show compliance with section 501.3 1MC. 2. Exhaust outlets are required to have motorized or gravity dampers to prevent heat loss when not in use per section 1412.4.1 of the Wash. State Energy Code. Drawings shall indicate compliance with this section to include leakage rating. 3. Existing unit over office appears to be over 2000cfm. Since this system has been or will be altered and the space served has been altered and increased in size, a duct smoke detector is required to shut down this unit on detection of smoke. Please advise as to current status an add duct smoke detection to return duct if necessary. Show on plans and label as existing if this is the case. If less than 2000cfrn please note on plans. 4. A storage room is shown on the plans and labeled as storage of flammable liquids and acid/corrosives. This room may be required to be a one hour fire rated control area and the makeup air jumper would need a fire damper installed per its listing. This room may not be constructed as a control area and if not will need to be brought to the attention of the architect for this tenant improvement. This issue will need to be resolved through the building permit before approving this mechanical permit without a fire damper in the jumper.
