All units use a common footprint and cabinet, allowing installation on a common -sized roof curb, slab, or frame. These self- contained units are assembled on rigid, full - perimeter base rails, allowing 3 -way forklift access and overhead rigging. For redundancy, two compressors are used each with an independent refrigeration circuit. A single economizer design is available for all tonnages. All units are completely charged, wired, piped, and tested at the factory. A one -year warranty covers parts, a five -year warranty covers compressors and electrical heater elements, and a ten -year warranty applies to aluminized steel and stainless steel tubular heat exchangers. PRODUCT BENEFITS SERVICE FRIENDLY — A non - corrosive drain pan slides out for easy cleaning; during installation it can be positioned to drain through the roof curb. Easy access to compressors, control box, indoor motor and blower, heating sections, filters, and condenser section simplifies inspection and maintenance. INDOOR AIR QUALITY (IAQ) — Foil -faced insulation is used exclusively throughout the unit. RELIABILITY — Two compressors each with an independent ' efrigeration circuit provide a back -up level of cooling. every unit is completely charged, wired, piped, and tested at the factory to ensure trouble -free installation and startup. Gas /electric units have electronic spark igni- tion and power vented combustion with steady state effi- ciencies of 80 %. These efficiencies exceed all legislated minimum levels and provide low operating costs. • Service Friendly — The PredatorTM incorporates a num- ber of enhancements which improve serviceability. The motor and blower slide out of the unit as a common assembly. This facilitates greater access to all the indoor airflow components, thus simplifying maintenance and adjustment. Service time is reduced through the use of hinged, tool - less panels. Such panels provide access to frequently inspected components and areas, including the control box, compressors, filters, indoor motor & blower, and the 3X+'• TVA( M4lOVV, l`Y'Stl '1C 49:40;",u4t3R,045 9+,1axr ar5*T«r.: +vA., ri .. The panels are screwed in place at the factory to prevent access by children or other unautho- rized persons. It is recommended that the panels be secured with screws once service is complete. Service windows have been placed in both condenser section walls. Rotation of the cover allows easy access to the condenser coils for cleaning or inspection. Both the unit control board and ignition control board uti- lize flash codes to aid in diagnosis of unit malfunctions. Unique alarm codes quickly identify the source of the unit alarm. All units use the same standard filter size. Per the Uniform Building Code and /or Uniform Mechanical Code, every permit issued by the Building Official under the provisions of this code shall expire by limitation and become null and void if the building or work authorized by such permit is not commenced within 180 days from the date of such permit, or if the building or work authorized by such permit is suspended or abandoned at any time after the work is commenced for a period of 180 days. Based on the above, you are hereby advised to: • Call the City Of Tukwila Permit Center at (206) 431 -3670 to arrange for the next or final inspection. This inspection is intended to determine if substantial work has been accomplished since issuance of the permit or last inspection; or if the project should be considered abandoned. If such determination is made, the Building Code does allow the Building Official to approve a one -time extension up to 180 days. Extension requests must be in writing and provide satisfactory reasons why circumstances beyond the applicants control have prevented action from being taken. In the event you do not call for the above inspection or request and receive an extension prior to June 24, 2003, your permit will become null and void and any further work on the project will require a new permit and associated fees. Thank you for your cooperation in this matter.
