All modifications to sprinkler systems shall have the written approval of the Washington Surveying & Rating Bureau, Factory Mutual Engineering or Industrial Risk Insurers, then by the Tukwila Fire Department. No work shall commence without approved drawings. (City Ordinance #1141 & NFPA 13, 1-9.1) 2. Exit hardware and marking must meet the r•eluirements of Uniform Fire Code Sections 12.104 & 12.114. 3. The total number of fire extinguishers re•4uired for Your establishment is calculated at one extinguisher for each 3000 sl. ft. of area. The extinguisher(s) should be of the "All Purpose" (2A, 10 B:C) dry chemical type. Travel distance to any fire extinguisher must be 75' or less. (NFPA 10, 3 -1.1 and UFC 1O.301b) 4.
