Dear Sir: The attached set of building plans have been reviewed by The Fire Prevention Bureau and are acceptable with the following concerns: 1. Maintain fire extinguisher coverage throughout. 2. Maintain sprinkler protection for all enclosed areas, (NFPA 13, 4- 1.1.1) All modifications to sprinkler systems shall have the written approval of the Washington Surveying & Rating Bureau, Factory Mutual Engineering or Industrial Risk Insurers, then by the Tukwila Fire Department. No sprinkler work shall commence without approved drawings. (City Ordinance #1141 & NFPA 13, 1 -9.1) 3. All required occupancy separations, area separation walls, and draft -stop partitions shall be maintained and shall be properly repaired, restored or replaced when damaged, altered, breached, penetrated, removed or improperly installed. Griffin Gentlemen: December 18, 1987 Bumstead Mfg., Inc., is expanding into Bay 5 of Andover East Business Center. We are removing an existing two story office shown on key plan and adding five additional 4' sections to expand into a 16' x 32' office shown as proposed office on key plan. This proposed office will be set directly on warehouse concrete slab and wall will be bolted to the floor. This office will house three people. Our critical need now is for a building permit so we can remove the existing sprinkler system and office by January 4, 1988. Any help in expediting this permit would surely be appreciated.
