C) has been structurally evaluated for the loading imposed by the existing and proposed HVAC rooftop units (as shown and dimensioned on page Si, attached). The conclusions in this letter are limited to the specific areas of the roof as indicated in the attached layout drawing in the sketch, S1. Based on our study, it is structurally acceptable to locate these (5) 7,000 lbs. HVAC units, with associated 6,400 lbs. steel frames, per the dimensions as shown on the attached drawing. refer to the attached sheet S1 of this report for details on the locations of the platform frames on top of which the units shall be placed. Also included with this letter are calculations to substantiate our conclusion. All steel used in the construction of the platform frame shall be treated to prevent corrosion — either some method of galvanization or a sealant paint may be used.
