2 Floor — CRAC Unit Floor Loading Analysis at the Mzima Suite
Please feel free to contact me if you have any questions or comments.
512 6th Street South, Suite 202
November 1e, 2008
REVIEWED FOR
CODE COMPLIANCE
APPROVED
DEC - 5 2008
As requested, the floor capacity Mzima Data Center Suite at 123101 Tukwila International Blvd has been evaluated
for the loading imposed by the proposed Liebert DE CRAG units as shown in the 51 plan. The conclusions in this
letter are limited to the specific areas of the floor as indicated in the attached layout drawing sheet S1, titled:
"Building C Second Floor Plan" — a copy is reduced and included in the calculations package. The Mzima has been
examined to determine the reducing in the current load capacity of the areas of the floor affected by the
installation of the proposed CRAC units.
Based on our study, it is structurally acceptable to locate the CRAC as shown on the attached drawing (S1) and
each cabinet shall have a maximum weight as indicated; also refer to page 2 of this report. This conclusion is only
valid if the areas with the CRAC are controlled access, generally unoccupied and open with the exception of the
CRAC units themselves.
Poggemeyer was provided with a plan set (dated 10- 28 -99) showing floor upgrades evaluated Nelson = Bourgades
Inc.; our analysis has shown where these floor capacities shall be reduced due to the introduction of the proposed
CRAC units. Please refer to plan sheet S1 showing the allowable capacities of each area, whether per the current
analysis or per the 10 -28 -99 analysis.
Also included with this letter is a calculation package to substantiate this conclusion, including the 2 floor
structural plan.

Dear Permit Holder:
Department of Community Development
RE: Permit No. M08 -275
12101 TUKWILA INTERNATIONAL BL TUKW
Based on the above, you are hereby advised to:
Jim Haggerton, Mayor
Jack Pace, Director
In reviewing our current records, the above noted permit has not received a final inspection by the City of
Tukwila Building Division. Per the International Building Code, International Mechanical Code, Uniform
Plumbing Code and /or the National Electric Code, every permit issued by the Building Division under the
provisions of these codes shall expire by limitation and become null and void if the building or work authorized
by such permit has not begun within 180 days from the issuance date of such permit, or if the building or work
authorized by such permit is suspended or abandoned at any time after the work has begun for a period of 180
days. Your permit will expire on 06/22/2010.
1) Call the City of Tukwila Inspection Request Line at 206 - 431 -2451 to schedule for the next or final
inspection. Each inspection creates a new 180 day period.
-or-
2) Submit a written request for permit extension to the Permit Center at least seven (7) days before it is
due to expire. Address your extension request to the Building Official and state your reason(s) for
the need to extend your permit.
The Building Code does allow the Building Official to approve one extension of up to 180 days. If it is
determined that your extension request is granted, you will be notified by mail.
In the event you do not call for an inspection and/or receive an extension prior to 06/22/2010, your permit will
become null and void and any further work on the project will require a new permit and associated fees.
Thank you for your cooperation in this matter.

Permit Technician,
Please extend this permit another 180 days. It is set to expire 12/24/2009 and because of the owner
had not obtained an Electrical permit or had it finalized. This is causing a delay for MacDonald Miller to
have the Mechanical Permit finalized —our work is complete. The owner is aware that this is the issue
and is resolving it and we are waiting for them.
If you have any questions please contact me at (206) 768 -4278 or by e-mail Darla.doll @macmiller.com
Thank you,

RE: Permit No. M08 -275
12101 TUKWILA INTERNATIONAL BL TUKW
Dear Permit Holder:
Jim Haggerton, Mayor
In reviewing our current records the above noted permit has not received a fmal inspection by the City of Tukwila Building Division.
Per the International Building Code and/or the International Mechanical Code, every permit issued by the Building Division under the
provisions of this code shall expire by limitation and become null and void if the building or work authorized by such permit is not
commenced within 180 days from the date of such permit, or if the building or work authorized by such permit is suspended or
abandoned at any time after the work is commenced for a period of 180 days.
Based on the above, you are hereby advised to:
Call the City of Tukwila Inspection Request Line at 206 - 431 -2451 to schedule for the next or fmal inspection.
This inspection is intended to determine if substantial work has been accomplished since issuance of the permit or last inspection; or if
the project should be considered abandoned.
If such determination is made, the Building Code does allow the Building Official to approve one or more extensions of time for
additional periods not exceeding 90 days each. Extension requests must be in writing and provide satisfactory reasons why
circumstances beyond the applicants control have prevented action from being taken.
In the event you do not call for the above inspection and receive an extension prior to 06/27/2009 , your permit will become null and
void and any further work on the project will require a new permit and associated fees.
Thank you for your cooperation in this matter.
