Would it be different if the firefighters delivering these emergency services were part of the Kent Regional Fire Authonty (RFA;tl'V Tukwila is studying how fire service is provided in the City. and considering consolidation with the RFA. Why? A An RFA can provide the same or better service to the Tukwila community • An RFA's service charge is based on property type and fire risk. A More resources could be given to other important Gty priorities and functions. A Committee recommendation is expected by the end of 2015. Should the Committee and City Council support moving fire services to the RFA, Tukwila voters would make the ultimate decision.
