The truss design drawings shall be prepared by a registered professional where required by the statutes of the jurisdiction in which the project is to be constructed. The design for the roof system does not meet the prescriptive framing design per building codes. There are two options: either have an engineer provide a design, signed and stamped by that engineer, for a personal framed truss system where the intent is to construct your own trusses. Or show pre- engineered trusses provided by a truss manufacture. In either case, the roof truss system shall be engineered.
