There was significant turn out by the community and very good conversations about the Public Safety Plan. As we have experienced since we began this effort, there is great support for our first responders in Tukwila. Big thanks to the firefighters, many of whom volunteered their time to cook and serve a great pancake breakfast for the community and thanks to the International Association of Fire Fighters Local 2088 that paid for the food. • Public Safety Plan Implementation: The Request for Qualifications for a Real Estate Broker are currently being advertised with proposals due on March 31. Personal safety walking along TIB and at the light rail station were common concerns.
