The open plastic refuse container is full of loose rubbish, and accessible to pests, rodents and birds. rRemove all rubbish from property or store inside an enclosed structure! 8/14/2017 Violation # 2 Code Reference: Corrective Action: VACANT BUILDINGS STRUCTURES AND PREMISES 8.28.030 Vacant Buildings, Structures and Premises A. All vacant buildings, structures and premises, and all vacant land, shall be maintained in a clean, safe, secure and sanitary condition as required by the International Property Maintenance Code. Property and structure is unsecured and accessible to unauthorized entry by persons, pests and animals. Main entryway door to house is unlocked and accessible, garage doors pried open and accessible. Upper window near driveway area is open and accessible. There is visual evidence that there has been intrusion into the home as seen through ground floor window next to driveway, and front door entryway. Entire property is covered in weeds, grasses and blackberries well in excess of 12 inches. There are plastic trash bags, paint cans and open containers filled with loose rubbish stored openly in driveway. Secure home and garage by locking and/or covering ALL possible entry points to prevent (legal entry by persons, pests or animals 1 !Trim and remove all weeds and overgrowth Remove all rubbish or store inside an enclosed structure] Compliance Date: 8/14/2017 Violation # 3 WEEDS Code Reference: IPMC 302.4 Weeds. Premises and exterior property shall be maintained free from weeds or plant growth in excess of 12 inches. Noxious weeds shall be prohibited. Weeds shall be defined as all grasses, annual plants and vegetation, other than trees or shrubs provided, however, this term shall not include cultivated flowers and gardens. Upon failure of the owner or agent having charge of a property to cut and destroy weeds after service of a notice of violation, they shall be subject to prosecution in accordance with 106.3 and as prescribed by the authority having jurisdiction.
