THIS AGREEMENT made this 5th day of April
19 68, by and between the CITY OF TUKWILA, a municipal corporation
of King County, Washington, hereinafter termed "Grantee" and

WITNESSETH:
That the said Grantor for valuable consideration does
by these presents grant unto the Grantee a perpetual right -of -way
or easement for utility mains and lines with the necessary appur-
tenances through, over, and across the following described proper-
ty situated in King County, Washington, more particularly described
as follows:
A fifteen foot wide strip of land described as
the Westerly 15 feet of the Easterly 21 feet, as
measured at right angles to South Center Parkway,
of the following described tract.
Beginning at a point 218.76 feet South of the NE corner of
the NW 1/4 of the NE 1/4 of the NW 1/4 of Section 35, Township
23 North, Range 4 East, W.M., thence Northeasterly 230.77 feet
to a point on the Westerly margin of South Center Parkway (57th
Avenue South) said point being 194.88 feet Southerly, measured
along said Westerly margin, from the North line of said Section
35. Thence Southerly along said Westerly margin 512.60 feet,
more or less, to an intersection with the South line of the
North 25.25 feet of the South 1/2 of the NE 1/4 of the NW 1/4
of said Section 35. Thence_West along said South line 1008.40
feet to the West line of the NE 1/4 of the NW 1/4 of said Section

35. Thence North 25.25 feet to the SW corner of the NW 1/4 of the
NE 1/4 of the NW 1/4 of said Section 35. Thence East 652.77 feet

in such a manner that the fences, lawn,
shrubbery, drives and walkways and land
contours existing in the right -of -way
shall not be disturbed or destroyed, or
in the event that they are disturbed or
destroyed, they will be replaced in as
good a condition as they were immediately
before the property was entered upon by
the Grantee.
The Grantor shall retain the right to use
the surfiace of said easement, so long as
said use does not interfere with the in-
stallation and maintenance of the utility
lines or mains and so long as no buildings
or structures are erected on said easement.
This easement shall be a covenant running
with the land and shall be binding on the
successors, heirs and assigns of both parties hereto.
