At 1148 hours on Friday June 6, 2014 we were dispatched to a gas leak. Two units were
assigned to this incident. Two personnel responded. We arrived on scene at 1202 hours
and cleared at 1209 hours. The incident occurred at 350 Midland Dr, Tukwila in District
006. The local station is 51. The general description of this property is warehouse. The
primary task(s) performed at the scene by responding personnel was investigation. No
mutual/automatic aid was given or received.
Alarm number 1402103 has been assigned to this incident.
E51 was dispatched to an ODORIN. E51 was out of service on drill, and requested that
the next up apparatus be dispatched. E52 responded to find a one story concrete tiltup

warehouse that was evacuated. E52 made contact with the business manager, and learned
that there had been a very brief release of natural gas from a heater in the warehouse and
the odor had migrated into the office area.
E52 monitored the air quality in the office and warehouse, and got no readings. Also, E52
could not smell any gas odor. E52 returned in service.
