SUMMARY
The current contract for public defense services expires December 31, 2022. The 2023-
2024 contract increases the flat rate from $29,100 p/month to $29,500 p/month with
$28,000 p/month being paid from the general fund and $1,500 p/month from the Office of
Public Defense grant funds. The overall increase in general fund expenditures is $400
p/month.
