FEATURES
Outdoor and indoor fan terminal block with push -on ter-
minal tabs for each fan motor are provided in the control
compartment.box for voltage application selection for the
BWC048, 060C300A models. The outdoor and indoor fan
motors operate on either 230 or 200 volt power source.
- Fan motor leads may readily be changed at the terminal
block when .the. power source is 200 volts. See wiring dia-
gram for 200 volt tap.
Economizer terminal blocks with push -on terminal tabs for
both. "high' and 'low -voltage" have been added in the con-
trol liox'compartment of BWC048, 060C --A models to aid
in' easier installation -of an economizer accessory. On appli-
cations where an economizeraccessory package is required,
provisions have been made to permit easy routing of the
wiring from the economizer motor to the unit control com-
partment.
LOW OUTDOOR AMBIENT COOLING
These units are shipped from the factory suitable for ope-
ration down to - 30°F. The evaporator defrost control
(E.D.C.) is standard equipment on BWC--C models. The
E.D.C. prevents the evaporator from freezing.

insure proper positioning of dampers on off cycle, cooling cycle and
equipment shutdown, The addition of 460V tap and a junction box (to
existing 200V and 230V taps) on.the economizer motor, provides added
application 'convenience. Wires and conduit are provided. A separate

the setting of the potentiometer in the economizer.•When the outdoor air -
temperature falls below the set pointofthe changeovercontroller in the
.economizer, the position of the -outdoor air damper is controlled by the
mixed air controller in the economizer. On a temperature riseinthe
mixed arc, the ,mixed air controller will gradually open:the outside air
damper. On a drop in mixed air temperature, the opposite will occur.
When the outdoor air temperature rises above the set point of the
changeover controller, the outdoor' air dainper:is: closed to a minimum
position. determined by •the manual potentiometer in the economizer.
The economizer is equipped with a compressor lockout relay in order to
obtain free cooling when the outdoor temperature falls below the set
P -
ECONOMIZER — The General Electric Economizer System is a
Ventilating System only. It has no connection with the indoor
temperature control except as follows; when the outdoor temperature
drops down to the pre-set position of the changeover controller which
senses outdoor air temperature, it will stop the compressor operation;
and the mixed air controller, set at 5°F. above the setting of the
changeover control, will n adulate the damperopening position until the
indoor thermostat is satisfied andopens the "Y" circuit to the
ec noniizer and "G" in the fan relay, returning the fresh air damper to
the minimum open position and breaking the power supply to the indoor
fan. Whenever the thermostat calls for cooling, once again the cycle will
be repeated.
When the outdoor air temperature is low enough to provide the desired
indoor cooling effect, the volume.of outdoor air required, or, the mixture
of indoor and outdoor air, is determined by the mixed air temperature
control. Minimum outdoor air will be introduced to the conditioned
space when air conditioning equipment is operating at summer design
conditions of outdoor air temperature. Modulation of the dampers
occurs when the outdoor air temperature is at or below the setting of the
changeover controller and the combination of return air and outside air
can be held at the mixed air controller setting.
A. The retum or recirculated air damper is full open and the outdoor air
damper is at minimum open position when the outdoor temperature
is above the setting of the controller:
B. Both return and outside air dampers will partially open when the
changeover controller.bulb and the mixed air capillary sense the
temperature of the mixed return and outdoor air, and the mixed air
temperature is within the pre-set limits of the changeover controller.
C. The return or recirculated air damper will be closed and the outdoor
air damper will .be in the -fully open position when the outdoor air
temperature is at or below the setting of the changeover controller.
These: positions are; maintained until the outdoor temperature
reaches the setting of=the mixed air capillary.
When the outdoor air temperature reaches the pre-set positionassume
55°F.) of the changeover controller bulb. the compressor is stopped and
the mixed air.capillary:. set: at 50°F:), has control of the
economizer system. - -
As the outdoor, air temperature falls below the setting on the mixed air
capillary. the outdoor .air damper begins to close. and the return air
damper begins. to open, maintaining a • mixed air temperature
corresponding to the setting of the mixed air capillary. If the outdoor
temperature continues to fall, the outdoor damper will continue to close
until the minimum damper position is reached.

RE: Permit No. M18-0128
CITY OF TUKWILA- POLICE
6300 SOUTHCENTER BLVD
Dear Permit Holder:
Allan Ekberg, Mayor
Jack Pace, Director
In reviewing our current records, the above noted permit has not received a final inspection by the City of Tukwila Building
Division. Per the International Building Code, International Mechanical Code, Uniform Plumbing Code and/or the National Electric
Code, every permit issued by the Building Division under the provisions of these codes shall expire by limitation and become null
and void if the building or work authorized by such permit has not begun within 180 days from the issuance date of such permit, or if
the building or work authorized by such permit is suspended or abandoned at any time after the work has begun for a period of 180
days. Your permit will expire on 4/14/2019.
Based on the above, you are hereby advised to:
1) Call the City of Tukwila Inspection Request Line at 206-438-9350 to schedule for the next or final inspection. Each
inspection creates a new t 80 day period, provided the inspection shows progress.
-or-
2) Submit a written request for permit extension to the Permit Center at least seven(7) days before it is due to expire.
Address your extension request to the Building Official and state your reason(s) for the need to extend your permit.
The Building Code does allow the Building Official to approve one extension of up to 180 days. If it is determined that your
extension request is granted, you will be notified by mail.
In the event you do not call for an inspection and/or receive an extension prior to 4/14/2019, your permit will become null and void
and any further work on the project will require a new permit and associated fees.
Thank you for your cooperation in this matter.
Sincerely,
Bill Rambo
