AN ORDINANCE CREATING AND ESTABLISHING FIRE ZONES AND
REPEALING FORMER RELATED ORDINANCES.
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF TUKWILA DO ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS:
Section 1. Purpose. Section 1601(a) of the Uniform Building Code
states that fire zones shall be established by an ordinance entitled "An
ordinance creating and establishing fire zones To date this has not been
accomplished in a separate ordinance. That is the purpose of this ordinance
with no changes proposed to the present boundaries of the presently established
fire zones.
Section 2. Fire Zones Adopted. The attached Fire Zone Map, dated
April 4, 1977, with no changes proposed to present fire zone boundaries, is
adopted by reference and made a part hereof as though fully set forth in this
chapter.
Section 3. Codification. This ordinance shall be codified as chapter
16.06 of the Tukwila Municipal Code.
APPROVED AS TO FORM:
Section 4. Repealer. The following are hereby repealed:
(a) Ordinance Numbers 761 and Section 16.04.070 of Ordinance Number 847.
(b) Tukwila Municipal Code Section 16.04.070.
PASSED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF TUKWILA, WASHINGTON, at a
regular meeting thereof this 18TH DAY OF APRIL 1977.
