AN ORDINANCE RELATING TO THE OFIICE OP SUPERINTENDANT
OF PARKS, CREATING THE 0Fi ICL THEREOF, PROVIDING FOR
THE APPOINTMaNT, TERM OF OFFICE, COMPENSATION: AND DUTIES
OF THE SUPERINTENDANT.
WHEREAS, the 'Tukwila Park requires the tine and attention
of a regularly appointed officer of the Town of Tukwila:
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE TOWN COUNCIL OF THE
TOWN OF TUK"`°dr ILA, AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION 1. That the office of Park Superintendant be and
the same is hereby created.
SECTION 2. That the Mayor be and he hereby is empowered
to appoint a suitable person to the office of Superinten-
dant of Parks, said person to hold office during the
pleasure of the Mayor.
SECTION 3. That the compensation of the Park Superintendent
be and the same hereby is fixed in the sum of SIXTY DOLLARS
(64) for each calendar month while employed.
SECTION 4. That the duties of the Park Superintendant shall
be to care for the Tukwila Park and other Town Parks as
necessary.
This Ordinance shall be in full force and effect from and
after its passage, signing and posting as required by law.
Passed the Town Council and approved by the Mayor this
3rd. day of January 1950.
