Subject: Agreement for Kent Valley website financial contribution
As a center of aerospace innovation, with hundreds of established and emerging
companies in Kent Valley communities, I appreciate your continued support of
KentValleyWA.com, our centralized economic development and business recruitment
website for our region and a foundation to our collaborative efforts to promote the
cities in Kent Valley to attract businesses in aerospace and advanced manufacturing.
By working together, we not only strengthen our global competitive position, but we
maximize our marketing efforts and dollars.
TERM: This agreement will terminate on May 30, 2025.
DELIVERABLES:
City of Kent will continue to maintain and update the Kent Valley WA website and
Linked In page and be solely responsible for its content.
Website components will be updated to include current information for:
• Information about Kent Valley communities' amenities, demographic data, and
specialized workforce
• A commercial real estate directory provided by GIS Webtech showcasing
available Kent Valley opportunities
• A business directory, utilizing business license data, to illustrate the high
number of innovative companies, and their specialized talent base
• Site optimized for desktop, tablet, and mobile devices
• Search engine optimization (SEO) plugin and setup with specified keywords
• Google Analytics installation and monitoring of site traffic to inform content
updates
Kent will incorporate GIS Planning's business directory intelligence and property viewer
into the website. The tool should enable potential investors to map businesses by
industry sector and sub -sector, research competitors, suppliers, and emerging clusters.
